THE TOUR / RETREAT IS DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY TO CONNECT BODY, MIND & SOUL, ALL MOVING WITH SAME FLOW OF ENERGY IN THE SAME DIRECTION. BRINGING AWARENESS, KNOWLEDGE OF SELF AND REJUVENATING THE WHOLE.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi, the capital city of India Arrive at Delhi’s international airport. Our airport representative will be meeting you on arrival (after clearing passport and customs formalities) and shall assist for the transfer to the hotel for check-in.

DELHI & OLD DELHI - THE CAPITAL

Day 2: Full day city tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi

Breakfast is at the hotel, followed by a morning tour of New Delhi. We drive past India Gate, a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers who were martyred during the Afghan War. Directly opposite is Rashtrapati Bhawan, once the imperial residence of the British Viceroys, it is now the official residence of the President of India. To one side is Parliament House, a circular building that is a symbol of Indian democracy. We will also visit Humayun’s Tomb, a sandstone forerunner of the Taj Mahal and Qutab Minar and 11th century victory tower that rises to a height of 73 meters. In the afternoon after lunch we will have sightseeing of Old Delhi. The tour of Old Delhi includes a brief visit to the Red Fort, a huge settlement that contains within it some very beautiful palaces and handsome public buildings. We drive past Jamma Masjid, one of the largest mosques and a handsome structure that is still a house of worship for devout Muslims. Also visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. If time permits, you will also enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the silver streets of one of Delhi’s largest marketplaces, Chandni Chowk. Overnight stay at your hotel (Delhi).

HARIDWAR - "Gateway to the Lord"

Day 3: Drive to Rishikesh((approx. 6 hours)

After Breakfast today we drive to Rishikesh. Lunch en route. Visit Haridwar enroute. On arrival check in at hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay at your hotel (Rishikesh). Haridwar is city in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand state in India. A place where the river Ganges enters in plain areas north India after flowing 250 kms from its origin Gaumukh (Gangotri Glacier). People from across the India visit for pilgrimage and to take a holy dip into the holy river Ganges. It is an ancient city & one of the most sacred cities in India. The diverse nature of the Hindu religion has attracted foreign visitors from all around the world. Foreigners are always attracted to Haridwar because here they can closely experience India’s complex culture, various Hindu rituals and the ancient civilization. Rishikesh is located in the north of India in the state of Uttrakhand. It is known as the gateway to the Himalayas and a famous pilgrimage city for Hindus and yogis. The city annually attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists both from India as well as from the western countries. It is home to many yoga centers that can partially look back on a long tradition. Rishikesh therefore has the reputation of being the yoga capital of the world to be.

Day 4, 5, & 7: Rishikesh

06:00: Satsang in the morning followed by meditation.

07:30: Tea break

08:30-10:00: Yoga class.

10:30-12:00: Brunch After brunch at the hotel, noon is free for self-study, holistic & Ayurvedic massages.

18:00: Dinner

Day 6: Rishikesh

Day 8: Rishikesh

After breakfast at the hotel departure to white-water rafting on the Ganges. Visit Laksham Jhula, a long and mighty bridge over the Ganges, which was built in 1939. You will visit various temples in the city along with the famous Beetles ashram or The original, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram. It was abandoned in 1997 and is now back under the control of the forest department. However, the shells of many buildings, meditation cells and lecture halls can still be seen, including Maharishi’s own house and the guesthouse where the Beatles stayed and apparently wrote much of the White Album.The once-striking art installation called The Beatles Cathedral Gallery has become a graffiti free-for-all, but it’s still worth seeing.It is to be turned into a museum soon. Later in the evening enjoy the Arati ceremony on the banks of the Ganges.Lunch en route & Dinner in the evening Overnight stay at hotel (Rishikesh)

Day 9:  After breakfast,departure to Delhi or further destinations, keeping peace in your heart.

what to bring ?

Please bring comfortable clothing for yoga, a yoga mat (there will also rent yoga mat), a small towel for yoga, an eye pillow (optional), warm clothes, a bathing suit, a robe, shoes or sandals, comfortable shoes.
