Day 02 Sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi
Today we begin, with our Introduction with the Yoga Teacher, along with a briefing session on the entire tour. Afterwards in the morning take tour of New Delhi visiting India gate, a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers who were martyred during the Afghan War. Directly opposite is Rashtrapati Bhawan, once the imperial residence of the British Viceroys, it is now the official residence of the President of India. To one side is Parliament house, a circular building that is a symbol of Indian democracy. Also visit Humayun’s tomb, a sandstone forerunner of the Taj Mahal and Qutab Minar an 11th century victory tower that rises to a height of 73 m. In the afternoon we will have sightseeing of Old Delhi, with drive past of Red fort, a huge settlement that contains within it some very beautiful palaces and public buildings, and Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosque and a handsome structure that is still a house of worship for devout Muslims. Also visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. If time permits, you will also enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the silver street of India, Chandni Chowk.
Day 03 Delhi – Varanasi (Train: DEP 1855 / ARR 0720 + 01)
Morning First Lecture on Yoga & Meditation.Check-out by 12’noon. Rest of the day at leisure to explore city on your own.
Evening board an overnight train for Varanasi.
Day 04 Arrive Varanasi & Local sightseeing
On arrival transfer to the hotel (Check-in 12’noon). Afternoon excursion of Sarnath, 13 kms away, the deer park where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, and where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna. Evening witness Aarti, where the river is worshipped as a Goddess. Later return to the hotel.

Day 05 Varanasi – Agra (Train: DEP 1815 / ARR 0610 + 01)
Early morning boat excursion on the River Ganges. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun. Return to the hotel for Morning Yoga Session (Introduction to yoga, how to improve health with yogic lifestyle & five points of yoga). After breakfast do the sightseeing, mainly visiting temples viz. Kashi Vishwnath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Bharat Mata Mandir dedicated to Mother India, Alamgir Mosque and Beni Madhav ka Darera, a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles of architecture. Rest of the day at leisure to explore city on your own.

Day 06 Arrive Agra & Local sightseeing
On arrival transfer to the hotel (Check-in 12’noon). Agra is the city of the Taj Mahal, perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. However, no matter how many pictures you have seen or no matter how high your expectations are, the Taj never lets you down – the unparalleled glory and beauty of the building surpasses beyond all human imaginations. Later visit, Agra Fort, an astounding structure comprising of, sprawling Palaces, royal private rooms, harems, magnificent towers, bastions, ramparts, and awe-inspiring gateways, showcasing not only the political stature and power of Mughal Empire under Akbar, but also the advancements made in the sphere of art and architecture. Day 07 Agra – Ranthambore, 5-6 hrs drive
Morning Yoga Practice (Introduction to 12 Basic postures) After Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ranthambore, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri.Built by great Mughal Emperor Akbar, as his capital but after few years abandoned due to scarcity of water. The whole city is built of Red Sand Stone. Later continue drive to Ranthambore. On arrival check-in into your hotel. It encompasses an area of 410 sq km., sprawled on the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges of Rajasthan, in which lives a healthy population of about 40 tigers. A large number of deer inhabit the area and leopards are occasionally sighted. Ranthambore is known to have India’s Friendliest tigers assured of protection. Yoga Class in the Evening.

Day 08 Tiger Safaris in Ranthambore
The region around Sawai Madhopur is thick with remnants of its part history. Walls, wells, mosques and hunting lodges adorn the lush rolling hills of the Vindhyas and the Aravalis. Tiger, Panther, Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat, Caracal, Sloth Bear, Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Chinkara, Indian hare mongoose are the common animals to be sighted during jungle rides. Day 09 Ranthambore – Chittorgarh, 5-6 hrs drive
Morning Yoga Practice (12 Basic postures) After breakfast, drive to Chittorgarh. The most Romantic name in Rajasthan, more than a ruined citadel, a symbol which stands for all that was brave, true and noble in the traditions. On arrival check-in into your hotel & visit the local sights.

Day 10 Chittorgarh – Udaipur, 2-3 hrs drive
Morning Yoga Practice (12 Basic postures with flow). After breakfast visit Chittorgarh Fort & continue drive to Udaipur. On arrival check-in into your hotel. You’re at leisure for rest of the day. Udaipur is also known as Venice of the East. The main City is situated around Lakes & Lake Pichola is one of the biggest human made lakes in the world.

Day 11 Sightseeing tour of Udaipur, The City of Lakes
Morning Yoga (Introduction to Meditation & Yoga practice) After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Drive around Fatehsagar Lake, built by Maharana Fateh Singh in 1754 AD. Visit Jagdish Temple, the largest and the most venerated temple of Udaipur. Further on, continue to Garden of Maidens – ‘Sahelion-Ki-Bari’, consisting of an ornamental pool with delicately carved ‘chhatries’ (umbrellas) of black and white marble and soft stone. Also, tour the Maharana’s City Palace, an imposing edifice of granite and marble. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, taking in the brilliant scenery of hills, temples and palaces surrounding it.
Day 12 Udaipur – Jodhpur, 6 hrs drive

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur, set at the edge of the Thar Desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. On arrival check-in into your hotel.

Day 13 Full day City tour of Jodhpur, the Blue City
Morning Yoga Session ( Yoga & Meditation Practice)
After Breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur – the former capital of Marwar state founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort spread over 5 kilometers on a steep hill and looking down 125 meters. The fort appears rugged and impenetrable from the outside, but houses some of the most intricately adorned palaces with exquisitely carved panels and latticed windows. Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal are some of the areas worth exploring. A collection of royal cenotaphs, built in while marble, lies very close to the fort. Built in 1899, the cenotaph also houses portraits of rulers of Jodhpur. After exploring the fort we also visit Jaswant Thada & visit local bazaars.
Day 14 Jodhpur – Jaipur, 6-7 hrs drive
Morning Yoga Class (Meditation & Yoga Practice) After breakfast, drive to Jaipur &on arrival check-in into your hotel. Jaipur has been like that since 1727 when Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II had it built and In 1876 A.D. Jaipur dressed itself in pink to welcome Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria and earned the epitaph ‘PINK CITY’, it is also a home of excellent handicrafts especially known for the exquisite gold jewellery enameled or inlaid with precious stones, blue pottery, carving on wood, stone & ivory, block print, tie & dye textiles, handmade paper, miniature painting etc.

Day 15 Sightseeing tour of Jaipur, The Pink City
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing tour of the City, starting with Amber Fort. You will experience Maharaja’s City Palace, a former royal residence now converted in to a museum containing rare manuscripts, fine specimens of Rajput and Mughal paintings and weapons. Drive through the pink-rose residential and business areas, past the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, which is the landmark of Jaipur & finally the Observatory.

Day 16 Jaipur – Delhi, 5-6 hrs drive
Morning Yoga (Meditation & Yoga Practice). After Breakfast drive to Delhi, on arrival Check-in into your hotel. Rest of the day is free.

Day 17 Delhi – Amritsar (Train: DEP 0720 / ARR 1340)
Board your train early this morning to Amritsar. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit Jallianwala Bagh, in 1919, the British under the command of General Dyer fired randomly on a peaceful gathering of people in demand of freedom, resulting in hundreds of men, women and children killed on the spot. The bullet marks on the boundary walls bring alive the agonizing tale of cruelty of the British rule. This event was one of the major incidents of India’s freedom struggle. The memorial well is also present here in which some people jumped to escape the firing. Later this evening visit Wagah Border, (30 km) the only road border crossing between Pakistan and India. The ceremonial display of the Beating Retreat and Change of Guard makes it an extraordinary spectacle. The soldiers from both countries demonstrate great enthusiasm and spirit as nationalistic fervor rises amidst roaring applause.

Day 18 Amritsar – Dharamshala, 5 hrs drive
Morning Yoga (Meditation & Yoga practice). After breakfast, visit Golden Temple (Sri Harimandir Sahib) a central religious place of the Sikhs, a symbol of human brotherhood and equality. Everybody, irrespective of cast, creed or race can seek spiritual solace and religious fulfilment without any hindrance. It also represents the distinct identity, glory and heritage of the Sikhs. To pen-down the philosophy, ideology, the inner and outer beauty, as well as the historical legacy of Sri Harimandir Sahib is a momentous task. It is a matter of experience rather than a of description. After the visit we drive to Dharamshala, where His Holiness Dalai Lama lives in exile. On arrival check-in into your hotel. Day 19 Dharamshala, the Little Tibet
Morning Yoga (Introduction to Pranayama, 12 Basic postures & Sun salutation). After breakfast visit Mcleodganj. Located in upper Dharamsala, it is at an altitude of 1700 meters above the sea level in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The city is known as the seat of the famous Buddhist figure, the Dalai Lama. Named after David McLeod, it is a very popular learning center of Tibetan culture and the teachings of Buddhism. Mcleodganj is considered to be blessed by nature and has been provided by the most amazing scenic charms and splendid environment. Apart from the Buddhist pilgrims, many tourists visit this beautiful town to witness the magnanimities it has to offer.

Day 20 Local sightseeing in Dharamshala
Morning Meditation, Pranayama & Yoga Practice with flow. It has been given the name, Little Lhasa that speaks about the influence of Buddhist culture in this city. The town is architecturally grand as it has many temples, monasteries and ancient structures that catch the eye of the beholder. The whole environment of the place is made serene and tranquil by the lifestyle and religious practices of the Buddhists. After breakfast visiting The Tibetan Medical Center, Church of St. John & local monasteries.

Day 21 Pathankot – Haridwar (Train: DEP 2030 / ARR 0620 +01)
Drive from Haridwar to Rishikesh, 1 hr drive.
Morning Yoga session Meditation, Pranayama & Yoga Practice Day at leisure to explore city on your own. Afternoon drive to Pathankot railway station (4 hrs) to board an overnight train for Haridwar.
Day 22 Arrive Haridwar & Drive to Rishikesh
Early this morning, arrive Haridwar & take the transfer to Rishikesh. On arrival check-in into your hotel (Check-in 12’noon). Rishikesh is known as the gateway to the Himalayas and a famous pilgrimage city for Hindus and yogis. The city annually attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists both from India as well as from the western countries. It is home to many yoga centers that can partially look back on a long tradition. Rishikesh therefore has the reputation of being the yoga capital of the world to be.

Morning – Certificates will be given by Demystifying Yoga to all the participants. After Breakfast drive to Delhi & straight to international airport for your flight back home keeping love, divinity, love and peace in our hearts.
Comfortable clothing for yoga, a yoga mat, a small towel for yoga, an eye pillow (optional), warm clothes, a bathing suit, a robe, shoes or sandals, comfortable shoes.
The yoga sessions will be a balanced combination of poses and a sustained increase awareness of posture to another. Awareness and attention to our breathing are important aspects of the course. Vigilance is always given to the alignment of basic therapeutic principles and postures.
Adaptations are available to help individuals understand and work with their individual limitations. Classes are energetically balanced, incorporating a good physical workout, poses soothing and deep relaxation.
